Before Fame

Before becoming a CrossFit athlete in 2013, Jamie was a rugby player and gymnast. She became known in the CrossFit competition scene in 2016 after winning the Reebok CrossFit Games Open. 

Trivia

In 2019, 2020, and 2022, she ranked first in New Zealand for the women's CrossFit open category. In 2017 and 2018, she ranked first in the UAE, and in 2016, She ranked first among women worldwide. 

Family Life

Her husband, Elliot is also a CrossFit athlete. She shared photos on her Instagram from a family vacation to London in August of 2023. She grew up in Dunedin with her parents and her sister, Becky. 

Associated With

In February of 2023, she shared a video on her Instagram page with fellow CrossFit athletes Laura Horvath and Gabriela Migała. They are seen in a group hug in support of each other to celebrate the new season of the CrossFit Games.
