Before Fame

He first discovered his passion for music as a young boy growing up. As a teenager, he decided to attend Liverpool's Institute of the Performing Arts which was founded by Paul McCartney.

He credits legendary singers such as Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield and David Ruffin as being some of his biggest musical influences. In particular, he loves the legendary sounds of Motown Records, Stax Records and Philly's Soul Music era.
