NHL goalkeeper and athlete that was originally taken as a first round pick in the 2019 draft by the Dallas Stars. Prior to being drafted, he played collegiate hockey at Boston University. As a sophomore, he helped his team win the 2018 Hockey East Tournament title.
Before Fame
After one season at Lakeville North High School, he then decided to enroll into the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He played just two seasons of hockey at the USA Hockey National Team Development Program before declaring for the 2019 NHL Draft.
Trivia
During his first playoff appearance with the Dallas Stars, he led all goaltenders in the first round with a .954 save percentage. He also recorded 64 saves, which is the second most in playoff history. He is quite large, standing at 6'5" tall and weighing well over 200 pounds.
Family Life
Growing up, he lived with his family in Lakeville, Minnesota. He and his fiancée, Kennedi, got engaged in June 2023.
