Jahlani Tavai

NFL middle linebacker that was taken by the Detroit Lions during the second round of the 2019 Draft. He was later signed by the New England Patriots as a free agent in November 2022. 

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Hawaii. While at Hawaii, he was named a member of the first team All-Mountain West.

Trivia

He made his official NFL debut playing against the Arizona Cardinals during week one of the 2019 season. He and the Lions tied with the Cardinals 27-27.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Inglewood, California. He is one of seven siblings. His brother J.R. also plays football as a linebacker.
