About

Best known for her young adult fantasy novels, this North Carolina-born author published such popular works as Sweetly, Purity, and Cold Spell. She also developed a popular online presence, posting numerous video blogs and heading an internet writing community called 2009 Debutantes.

Before Fame

She began her college career at Georgia College & State University and went on to graduate from the University of Georgia. She published her first novel, As You Wish, in 2009.

Trivia

She published her seventh work, Tsarina, under the pseudonym of J. Nelle Patrick.

Family Life

A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, she later settled in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her third work, Fathomless, was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's famous story The Little Mermaid.
