He had several small roles in various Dominican sitcoms in the late 1990s. His first major onscreen role was in the film Negocios Son Negocios in 2004. His big break was hosting Qué Chévere es Saber beginning in 2012 and Chévere Nights in 2011.

He was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He married Yelitza Haimara Peña Sanlley in 2000 and they eventually divorced. He married Ysabel Aracena in 2017. He has three children.
