In his first two seasons as All Blacks manager, Foster managed a winning percentage of just 65 percent, which was down from the 85 percent his predecessor won.

Family Life

His father, Jack, was a Putāruru barber turned Presbyterian minister who trained in Dunedin and then returned to the North Island, taking his family with him. Jack passed away in 2018. He has three children with his wife, Leigh.
