About
South Korean forward who played for the Pohang Steelers from 1993 to 1998, then went on to play for Cerezo Osaka, the Suwon Samsung Bluewings and Kashiwa Reysol before finishing his career with the Chunnam Dragons in 2002. He became the manager of the Pohang Steelers in 2010.
Before Fame
He initially wanted to play outside of South Korea and signed with the second division Bundesliga club Wuppertaler in 1992.
Trivia
He led the Korean national team in several World Cup competitions, as well as in the Olympic games during his fifteen years with the team from 1988 to 2002.
