Herlin Riley

Jazz drummer who is part of the New York Jazz Group and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He has also worked as a music lecturer.

Before Fame

He started playing the drums when he was three years old. He studied trumpet for most of high school and college, but went back to the drums later.

Trivia

He taught at music composition at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University.
