Solicitor and Judge of the High Court of England and Wales; more commonly referred to as The Hon Mr Justice Hodge. He was made an Officer of the OBE in 1993 and knighted in 2004.
Before Fame
He studied at Chigwell School, later reading Law at Balliol College, Oxford, from which he graduated in 1965.
Trivia
His controversial ruling that prevented the Home Office from deporting an 11-time sexual offender to Sierra Leone in 2007 prompted much discussion and heated debate.
Family Life
He and his second wife, Margaret Watson (née Oppenheimer), met while he was a Councillor in the London Borough of Islington.
