NFL quarterback that was originally taken by the Detroit Lions as a third-round pick in the 2023 Draft. Before being drafted, he played college football at the University of Tennessee. During his final season at Tennessee, he was named a member of the first-team All-SEC and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

Before Fame

He was considered a four-star prospect while in high school. In addition to football, he also played basketball while in high school. He initially enrolled at Virginia Tech University as a freshman in 2017.

Trivia

He scored a passing touchdown in 20 consecutive games while at Tennessee, which is a program record. He also holds a program record of 261 consecutive passes thrown without an interception.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is one of three siblings.
