Her flagship content is spoof ads for a clothing company she calls Werner Herzog, where she does German-sounding voice-overs of photos of children looking sad in neautral-toned clothing. Her content also includes a series calls, "toys I would buy for my worst enemy's child." She also does a lot of fundraising for various social causes, including books for library visitors, victims of the genocide in Gaza, and resources for her own children.

She is married and has two children with her husband, a fellow public librarian.

On November 7, 2024 she posted a fundraiser for a toy drive where proceeds benefit the FRIENDS Association, quoting Fred Rogers when he said "look for the helpers."
