Highly acclaimed Pakistani actor who was launched to stardom after portraying the role of Waqaas Jutt in the 2017 television serial Sammi. He has also earned recognition for his role as Zafar in the 2019 romance drama series Do Bol. Some of his other notable television roles include Sheeraz in Mera Maan Rakhna, Lieutenant Commander Noori Pasha in the TV movie Hangor S131, and Taimoor in Meri Hai Kiya Khata.
Before Fame
He initially enrolled in the National Academy of Performing Arts to study acting, screenwriting, and directing. However, he did not complete his studies and thus, did not graduate. He went on to perform with the Iternational Theater Festival of Napa and Musical Theatre Avanti.
Trivia
In a July 2016 article, he was called an emerging talent to look out for by Hip in Pakistan. He was also named on The News International's list of TV Actors We Want to See in Cinema in June of 2017.
Family Life
His great-grandfather Abdul Majeed Butt was married to Indian actress Munawar Sultana prior to the Partition of India. In 2018, he married Pakistani actress Maryam Fatima. However, the pair divorced in 2022.

In an October 2023 interview, he expressed that he aspired to work with Hollywood actor Robert Downey Jr. and world-renowned director Martin Scorsese.
