Before Fame
Her father taught her to kitesurf at a young age. After a scary incident, she returned to the water when she was 15. At 15, she became the youngest ever female to win the British Amateur Ladies title.

In 2012, she was named the "Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer."
Family Life
Her father Pete was a kitesurfer as well. He was a five-time British senior champion.
