Guy Adami

About

Professional investor, trader, and television personality famous for being one of the original "Fast Money Five" on CNBC's Fast Money. He's worked as the vice president of Goldman Sachs' commodity group J. Aron. Soon after, he became the executive director at CIBC World Markets. In 2012, he became an official Keppler Speaker and often speaks at colleges and universities.

Before Fame

He was the captain of his high school's varsity football and basketball teams and was named All-League in both sports. He was inducted into the Croton Harmon High School Hall of Distinguished Graduates in November 2010. In 1986, he graduated from Georgetown University. He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert, working on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Trivia

He successfully completed the Ironman competition in 2012 as part of a fundraising effort for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's New Jersey Chapter, of which he is a board of trustees member.

Family Life

He is the son of Nancy and Guy M. Adami. He is the eldest of 5 children. In 1997, he married his wife Linda, with whom he has 3 children.
