Colombian professional footballer who is known for his work as a midfielder with the Brazilian Serie A club Flamengo. He is also known for playing as a midfielder on the Colombian national team. 

Before Fame

His youth career began with the Deportivo Cali club in 2008. He then went on to begin his professional career with the club in 2009. That same year, he played on Colombia's under 17 national team and in 2015 he joined their first national team as a midfielder. 

Trivia

He has earned several honors and awards for his playing including the Campeonato Carioca in 2017 with the Flamengo club and the Copa Colombia in 2010 with the Deportivo Cali club. 

Family Life

He posted a picture with his wife and son to Instagram in June of 2018.

He was listed in the preliminary 35 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia alongside fellow players David Ospina, Cristian Zapata, and Carlos Sanchez.
