Before Fame
He learned how to play chess when he was seven years old. He began competing soon after learning how to play. He won the Under-9 section of the Asian School Chess Championships in the year 2015. He won the World Youth Chess Championships in the year 2018.
Trivia
He almost passed Sergey Karjakin in becoming the youngest chess grandmaster in history. However, he unfortunately missed making the record by a mere 17 days. He was awarded Player of the Year by the Asian Chess Federation in the year 2023.
