Well known for his portrayal of Pablo Betart in the series Wildfire from 2005 to 2008, Serano would go on to secure TV roles in Scoundrels and Power. He would be no stranger to the big screen, earning roles as Enrique in Legally Blonde, Miguel in Conspiracy and Hideki in Terminator Salvation.

He had a minor role in a 1996 movie called The Rich Man's Wife and landed the part of Gusmaro Lopez in the series Dangerous Minds.
