Comic book artist and penciller behind the drawings of numerous works published by Marvel Comics, Image Comics, and DC Comics. He is perhaps most widely known for his work on Todd McFarlane's Spawn and the highly lauded Batman series written by Scott Snyder. He has also provided the artwork for musical album covers, animated television series, and video games.
Before Fame
He began drawing as a young child and drew his first illustration of Batman at just four years old. His first work in a published comic book was for a violently graphic horror-themed comic called Gore Shriek. Its success helped him earn his position with Marvel Comics, where he worked on comics such as Quasar and X-Force.
Trivia
His artwork, including both famed cover art and never-before-seen samples, was published in a hardcover album called, "The Art of Greg Capullo" in the year 2007 by Image Comics. He was a recipient of the prestigious Inkpot Award at Comic-Con International in the year 2015.
