Govind Padmasoorya

About

Television host, presenter, and film actor who is known for his work in Malayalam Cinema. He is best recognized for hosting the D 4 competition series as well as several Asianet Film Award ceremonies. He is also known for having starred in the films Kee and Lavender. 

Before Fame

He graduated with his degree in Business Administration from St. Aloysius College in Manglore. He then made his debut in the Malayalam film Atayalangal in 2008. His television debut came later on in 2014 when he started hosting the program D 4 Dance. 

Trivia

He has won several awards for his acting including the JCI Young Personality of the Year award in 2018 and the Best Anchor award at the Asiavision Awards in 2014. 

Family Life

He has a younger brother named Govind Amrithsoorya.

He starred alongside RJ Balaji and Nikki Galrani in the 2017 feature film Kee.
