A controversial figure, he was involved in a physical altercation with a journalist and publicly addressed female reporters using a derogatory term. These actions, and a host of others, resulted in his removal from the position of UKIP Party Whip.

Family Life

He grew up in London as the child of Alan and Phyllis Bloom. In the mid-1980s, he married Katryna Skowronek.

U.K. Independent Party leader Nigel Farage was one of numerous politicians to object to a politically incorrect and ethnically insensitive phrase that Bloom used to refer to several foreign countries that were receiving aid from Great Britain.
