Drummer, entertainer, artist, performer, musician, and instrumentalist who plays with Alice Cooper. He tours with the band Hollywood Vampires, which includes Cooper, Joe Perry, Tommy Henriksen, and Johnny Depp. In his career he has played in the house band for many different famous musicians, like Steven Tyler and Weird Al Yankovic. 

Before Fame

He started playing the drums at age 11. During high school, he played in the marching band and jazz band. When he was 19, he won a local drum-off competition. 

Trivia

For ESPN on the Monday Night Football theme, he is drumming on that track. The music actually has a title called "Heavy Action." Sobel recorded one record with MacAlpine in the year 1993, entitled Madness, which featured jazz saxophone luminary Branford Marsalis.

Family Life

He is from Los Angeles, California. In a post he did on Instagram, he shows a picture with his girlfriend, Brittney. They met in 2023. 

Associated With

One of the most famous gigs that he did early on in his career was to sub drumming for Tommy Lee on a Mötley Crüe tour for a week. He only had a few hours notice to pull that off.
