Peruvian television personality best known for presenting entertainment programs primarily affiliated with the Willax Television network. She has served as the host of numerous shows throughout her career including Hola a todos, Amor amor amor, Escápate con Gigi, and Amor y fuego.

Before Fame

She attended a Catholic school for nuns throughout her youth before going on to study communication science at the University of Lima. As a child, she competed on the television contest R con erre. 

Trivia

She has also enjoyed a lengthy career in radio that began when she became a producer for Radio América when she was only 25 years old. She also co-hosted the program Sin Nombre with fellow presenter Sergio Galliani and performed as a radio sportscaster for a station in Boca Raton, FL for a period of over 7 years.

Family Life

She was born Giselle Helwe Mitri Giha. Her sister, Karen Mitre, is a prominent designer of high-fashion handbags. She is also related to notable ballad singer of the 1990s, Fahed Mitre - her first cousin.

Associated With

She achieved fame for her participation on television programs alongside Rodrigo González, such as Amor amor amor, which she initially joined as a replacement for Sofía Franco Ayllón. In 2002, she served as a co-host for the América Televisión program Utilísimas alongside Rebeca Escribens.
