Hungarian fencer who has won four Olympic medals in the Épée competitions which include a bronze in 1996 and two silvers - one in 2004 and the other in 2016. He was the 2015 world champion in men's épée in Moscow. That same year he was awarded Hungarian Fencer of the Year for a second time.

He attended Harsányi János College. His first Olympic games were in Atlanta in 1996. He was the Hungarian fencer of the year for the first time in 1996.
Trivia
In 1998 he was a member of the Hungarian Team of the Year and he also won a National Defence Award. In 2016 he won the Budapest Pro Urbe Award. He has been awarded the Silver Cross, Knight's Cross, and Commander's Cross orders of merit from the Republic of Hungary.
Family Life
He is the husband of Beatrix Kökény, a Hungarian handballer. They have two children, Bence and Szofi.
