Styled the Earl of St. Andrews, he is the oldest son of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and his wife, Katharine, Duchess of Kent. From his marriage until 2015, he would have been barred from succession to the throne after marrying a catholic. However, the Succession to the Crown Act 2013 changed this.
Before Fame
He studied at Eton College and Downing College, Cambridge and earned an MA.
Trivia
He is a Trustee of the SOS Children's Villages UK charity, as well as a Patron of the Association for International Cancer Research. In 2017, he became the Chancellor of the University of Boldon.
Family Life
He married divorcée Sylvana Tomaselli in 1988 and had three children with her.
