Actor famous for playing Giovanni Capello, one of four students to appear in all series of the British hit sitcom Mind Your Language. He's made numerous guest appearances on series such as Strangers, Hart to Hart, and Peak Practice. He's also worked in feature films including The Message, Love's Kitchen, and Arifa.
Before Fame
He made his television debut in 1966, playing Dickson on a single episode of the mini-series Broome Stages. His first recurring role came over 10 years later when he played Hosias in the 1977 mini-series Jesus of Nazareth. He made his film debut in 1975 as Shelly in the movie Three Men in a Boat.
Trivia
The show for which he was most famous, Mind Your Language, was remade in 3 different countries: in the United States as What a Country, in India as Zaban Sambhal ke (Talk with Care), and in Malaysia as Oh My English!
