Before Fame

It took an interest in the guitar at the age of 7 because of the video game Guitar Hero, and he received an electric guitar for his 8th birthday. At the age of 11, he started performing gospel music in churches, despite not having a religious upbringing.  

Trivia

He is a boxing fan. From 2017 to 2024, he was the front man and lead guitarist for the experimental art rock band Black Midi. His favorite boxer is Sugar Ray Leonard. He released his solo album, The New Sound, in October 2024. Within four months, the single Holy, Holy, had over one million views on YouTube.

Family Life

He credits his parents for his musical influences. His father introduced him to bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. His mother worked at a salsa club.
