Garo Mardirossian

Lawyer whose practice areas include civil rights, constitutional law, complex litigation and personal injury. Upon graduating from law school, he formed his own firm and took mostly injury cases. In 2000, he was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by Consumer Attorneys of California. He successfully won judgments against Nissan and Ford, respectively, for defective parts. 

Before Fame

He worked as a mechanic. He later studied economics at UCLA and earned his law degree in 1981 from Whittier College School of Law. 

Trivia

One of his most famous cases is Dole v. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He won a judgment of over $24 million, which set a record at the time. 

Family Life

He is Armenian-American. His father owned a service station for cars.
