She did some commercials at a young age. She gained fame when she competed and won the Ecuadorian version of the reality show Popstars. She would then become a member of the girl band Kiruba.

Trivia

She starred in the Colombian soap opera Al Ritmo De Tu Corazón after her band Kiruba split up.

Family Life

She was born María Gabriela Villalba Jervis in Quito, Ecuador to parents Juan Carlos Villalba and Paulina Jervis. She has seven brothers named Juan Carlos, Ricardo, Diego, Sandra, Mateo, Santiago and Alessandro.
