Gabriel Rolón

About

Argentinian psychoanalyst, writer, and author of several books on psychoanalysis and psychology. He is known for his participation in various radio and television programs, for his seminars and presentations, and for being the author of the best-selling novel Divan Stories.

Before Fame

He completed his studies at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires. He focused on, and specialized in, the field of clinical psychology specifically to address problems of psychosis or neurosis. He began writing and guest-starring on various radio programs in the 1990s.

Trivia

When he was born, he was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. He ended up reading a lot instead of being active because of this issue. This sparked his love of knowledge and understanding thought processes. He initially began college by focusing on economics before switching to psychology. 

Family Life

He was born in the year 1961 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His family was very poor when he was growing up. His older sister died before he was born. His father encouraged him to study psychology before he passed away in the year 1998. He married the writer and psychoanalyst Cynthia Wila in March of 2017. He has two children named Lucas and Malena.
