Before Fame

At the age of 11 he started learning digital music production on his computer. He also learned how to produce tribal music from an online tutorial  by Mexican DJ, Javier Estrada. During that time, global trends like Skrillex and dubstep were rising in popularity, which inspired him to fuse regional, pre-Hispanic music with dubstep. This led him to create the genre Basscumbia..

Trivia

His unique sound has earned him spots at major festivals in Mexico, including EDC Mexico, Beyond Wonderland Monterrey, BAHIDORÁ Festival, and Cabuland Fest in 2017. Three years later, he released his first EP TRIBAL MODE, which led him to global success and sparked a trend in South Indian cities like Kolhapur and Belgaum.

His full name is  Alfredo Olaf Lopéz Acuña and he was born in Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico.
