Known for his Ever Increasing Faith series of radio and television programs, this founder of the Fellowship of International Christian Word of Faith Ministries (FICWFM) also served as founding pastor of Los Angeles' Crenshaw Christian Center.

Before Fame

Soon after becoming a born-again Christian, he accepted an assistant pastor position at a Baptist church in California. He went on to preach at both African Methodist Episcopal and Presbyterian churches.

Trivia

Though he ended his formal schooling after a brief course of study at Los Angeles City College, he later received an honorary Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University.

Family Life

His parents, who were once Jehovah's Witnesses, later renounced all religion. Price did not convert to Christianity until after his marriage to his high school girlfriend, Betty.
