After rising to fame on the ITV talent competition Opportunity Knocks, this British comedian and actor starred on a BBC children's series called The Small World of Samuel Tweet and went on to appear in the comedy movie Funny Bones.

Before Fame

Following his service in the British Army's Pay Corps, he began performing a stand-up comedy act. He attracted many fans and was soon featured on such television programs as The Tom Jones Show and Sunday Night at the London Palladium.
