Emmy-nominated actor, religious missionary, and youth speaker who rose to fame for his starring role on the NBC soap opera Santa Barbara. He continued to work as an actor until the early 1990s. That's when he decided to pursue studies in religion at Yale Divinity School, General Theological Seminary, and Princeton University. Since then, he's translated numerous Biblical texts into one-man plays, which he travels the country performing.
Before Fame
He studied acting in New York and Los Angeles. He made his acting debut in 1980 with the role of Steve Andropoulos on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns, which he portrayed until 1987.
