Professional left winger best known as Sonny. He was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets with the 16th overall pick of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He was later traded to the Anaheim Ducks in February 2020. When he was 22, he won a bronze medal during the 2018 Ice Hockey World Championships as a member of the United States' national hockey team.

Prior to his professional career, he trained with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He trained there from 2012-2014.
Trivia
He made his official NHL debut playing against the New York Islanders on March 31, 2016 as a member of the Blue Jackets. Two seasons later, he scored his first career NHL goal playing against the Islanders.
