Mexican revolutionary who's most recognized for overthrowing the dictator Porfirio Diaz and becoming the 37th president of Mexico from 1911 until he was deposed in a coup d'etat in February of 1913 when he was assassinated.
Before Fame
From 1886 to 1888, he attended Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, MD. He studied for several years at a business school in Paris called HEC Paris. He also underwent one semester at the University of California at Berkeley.
Trivia
His full name is Francisco Ignacio Madero González. His 1908 book "The Presidential Succession in 1910" called Mexican voters to prevent the reelection of Porfirio Díaz.
Family Life
He was the brother of Gustavo, Raúl, Emilio, Ernesto, and Gabriel Madero. He was married to Sara Pérez Romero from 1903 to 1913.
