Francesco Schettino

Criminal best known for his involvement in the tragedy of the cruise ship Costa Concordia. While he was captain of the ship, it hit an underwater rock, capsized, and resulted in the death of 32 passengers. 

Before Fame

In 2006, he first became captain of the Costa Concordia. He reportedly damaged another ship in 2010.

Trivia

in 2015, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the Costa Concordia incident.

He has a wife named Fabiola. Together, they have one child named Rosella.
