Before Fame
She was in the socialist union while she attended the University of Athens. She worked as a banker for the National Bank of Greece starting in 1986. She began her political career when she became the Hellenic Parliament for PASOK and represented the Athens A constituency in 2000. She resigned in 2002 to run in local elections.
