Pakistani professional chef who is known for having won the Fan Favorite award on Season 15 of Top Chef. She was known for having suffered from terminal cancer but utilized her time left to pursue her passion in cooking, sharing her creations through Instagram for her over 140,000 followers.
Before Fame
She moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue her career as a chef. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 2011. She then started working as a junior sous chef at Cafe Centro in New York. She then became the youngest executive sous chef at Stella 34 Trattoria at the Macy;s in Herald Square.
