Fani Willis

About

Lawyer and attorney who is known for being the district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia. She is also known for being the prosecuting attorney on Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election. She was later put on the stand in the year 2024 to see if she was compromised as she was revealed to have been involved in a private affair with the special prosecutor she hired for the case against Trump.

Before Fame

She attended Howard University and graduated with a political science degree in the year 1993. She then attended Emory University School of Law and graduated in the year 1996. She became Chief Municipal Judge for South Fulton, Georgia in 2019. 

Trivia

She was awarded the Law and Justice "Woman of the Year" Award in the year 2017. In the year 2018, she went into private practice. That year, she ran for a seat on the Fulton County Superior Court, and lost. In the year 2019, Willis became Chief Municipal Judge for South Fulton, Georgia.

Family Life

She was born in Inglewood, California. She and her family moved to Washington, D.C. when she was in first grade. Her father was a criminal defense attorney. She has two daughters.
