Neuroscientist, intelligence researcher, communication expert and journalist holding several advanced degrees, including a PhD and Postdoctoral degree in neuroscience, a Master's in psychology, and undergraduate degrees in both biology and history. He is affiliated with prominent organizations, such as Sigma Xi, the Society for Neuroscience, the Royal Society of Biology, and the American Philosophical Association. As the director of the Center for Research and Heraclitus Analysis (CPAH), he has created and led groundbreaking projects like the Genetic Intelligence Project, which estimates intelligence through genetic testing. He has also served in academic leadership positions at Logos University International and Martin Dockweiler University Hospital. He owns a number of newspapers in Brazil and Portugal, and founded MF Press Global, a major Brazilian press company.

Before Fame

His academic journey began with undergraduate study of biology and history, later expanding into neuroscience, psychology, anthropology, and philosophy. Before gaining international recognition, he worked extensively as a press agent after the 2008 recession, covering media personalities and gaining insights into communication dynamics. By the time he was 20, he owned a computer manufacturing company.

He holds three world records recognized by RankBrasil, including publishign 330 scientific articles in 2023 and achieving the highest score on a validated IQ test. He is a member of several high-IQ societies, including Mensa, Intertel, and the Triple Nine Society. He has published more than 30 books and over 10,000 scientific texts spanning the topics of intelligence, neuroscience, and happiness. He has suggested that COVID-19 may cause memory loss and impacts to intelligence. He created the RG Tea Project, which aims to help people on the autism spectrum.

Family Life

He is the son of Portuguese woman Maria Ascenção de Abreu Rodrigues. He was raised in the Vila da Penha neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He lives between Portugal and Spain and works in Latin America.
