Evy Poumpouras

About

American journalist, writer, and author who co-hosted the Bravo television series Spy Games. She is a former United States Secret Service (USSS) special agent. In the year 2020, she published her memoir, which is called Becoming Bulletproof.

Before Fame

During her childhood, she spent many summers in Greece. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Hofstra University. She went on to receive her Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University. She subsequently earned her Master of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. 

Trivia

She speaks multiple languages including Greek, Italian, Spanish, and Arabic. She is a recipient of the USSS Valor Award for her actions as a first responder to the 9/11 attacks. Since the year 2013, she has been an adjunct professor at the City University of New York.

Family Life

She has been married to her husband. Together, they have a daughter.  

Associated With

During her time working in the Secret Service's Presidential Protective Division, she was responsible for protecting former US president Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
