Accomplished actor whose decades-long career in the entertainment industry has included recurring roles in television series such as Filthy Rich, The Shannara Chronicles, Rake, One of Us Is Lying, Sweet Tooth, and Our Flag Means Death. He has also starred in feature films like Whina, The Justice of Bunny King, Savage, Journey to the Forbidden Valley, Little Secret, and The Rehearsal.

Before Fame

He graduated from the University of Southern Queensland before commencing his professional acting career. His debut screen appearance came in the year 2000 with a single-episode appearance on the television series Water Rats. The following year, he also appeared in the mini-series Head Start.

Trivia

He executed daring stunts without the use of a stunt double for his role in the film Slow West. Although his scene was ultimately cut before the movie's release, it was originally slated to open the film. He portrayed the lead role in the docudrama Passion in Paradise which earned a Silver Medal at the 2015 New York Film and Television Awards.

Family Life

He has three children including his daughter Anais. She is a professional actress and has performed alongside her father in shows such as One of Us Is Lying and The Shannara Chronicles.

He earned particular recognition for his role as Byron in the multi-award-winning 2015 action-comedy horror film Deathgasm, which also starred Milo Cawthorne and Kimberley Crossman.
