Before Fame
He had his first acting role at age sixteen in the 1994 film, Road to Saddle River. Before getting into film, he worked in theatre as a child, and started acting at the age of nine.

He had his first big film role in the award-winning film, Legends of the Fall (1994). Throughout his lengthy career, he has earned credits for appearances in over 70 different films, television series' and video games. He appeared in both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed as the villain Jack Hyde.
Family Life
He has a daughter, Calla, with wife, Adria Budd. He and Adria got married in 2004.
