Before Fame

After attending Carnegie Mellon University, she moved to New York and joined the Broadway cast of Jekyll & Hyde.

Trivia

She and Alice Ripley received the first co-nomination in Tony Award history for their performance as Siamese twins in the musical Side Show.

Family Life

She grew up in Richmond, Virginia. She was married in September of 1998.

Associated With

She played dance teacher Sandra Wilkinson in Broadway's Billy Elliot. Julie Walters played the same role in the film adaptation of the play.
