Daughter of musician Rick Astley. She lives in Denmark having studied visual art and works in garden and landscape design. Denmark is a familiar country to her family as her mother Lene is Danish, thus she is very familiar with the culture. She works in garden design, following in the footsteps of her paternal grandfather who opened a garden center during her father's childhood. He reportedly hated working there, but it suits her just fine. 

Before Fame

When she does travel home, her father reported in an interview with The Times that they will spend a Sunday drinking tea and singing along to the soundtrack for the musical My Fair Lady. He also credits her with turning him into a cat person, as he told People Magazine in one interview.

Trivia

She was living in Denmark during the pandemic and her father traveled with her mother by car to see her there and was impressed by the way Denmark handled the Covid-19 virus outbreak more eloquently than the United Kingdom, where they are all originally from. 

Family Life

Her father Rick Astley is famous for the meme art of rickrolling that first started in the mid-2000s, a bait-and-switch prank that would always lead to a clip from the music video for his song "Never Gonna Give You Up." He and her mother have been married since 2003. She is an only child. Her mother Lene is a film producer.
