Before Fame
He represented Argentina at the U18 and U19 level. He was then appointed to the U20 squad for the 2013, 2014, and 2015 Junior World Cups. Earlier in his career he was a winger. He made his Super Rugby debut for Jaguares in 2016 at the age of 21. An injury, however, kept him out of competition that season.
Trivia
In 2017, he was nominated for World Rugby Breakout Player of the Year. His Edinburgh teammates affectionately refer to him as King Boff. Less than a month after his own Edinburgh squad voted him their Players' Player of the Season after his debut year in the capital, he found himself lining up against seven of his Scottish teammates as Argentina scored a historic victory versus Scotland in July 2022.
Family Life
He was born in Rosario. Boffelli's parents, Gabriel and Beatriz, his sister, Florencia, and his niece and nephews, Emilia, Benjamin and Felipe, were all on hand to witness Argentina's historic wins.
