American serial killer who was arrested in 1974 for his part in what has come to be known as the Houston Mass Murders. He helped lure victims to his accomplice Dean Corll, who then carried out rape, torture, and eventually murder upon at least 28 teenage boys and young men.
Before Fame
Despite being a good student, he dropped out of high school at 15 to take on work to help his mother. While in school, he became acquainted with a certain David Owen Brooks, who would go on to introduce him to Dean Corll.
Trivia
In August 1973, he shot and killed Dean Corll after an episode in Corll's home when Henley felt he had gone too far. He subsequently released their restrained victims, called the police, and confessed to his crimes.
Family Life
His father was an alcoholic who abused him, his brothers, and his mother.
