Perpetrator of the 2014 Isla Vista Killings, which were a series of misogynistic murders. He killed six people and severely injured 14 using a knife and a gun. He also struck several people with his car while firing out the window. Prior to his killing spree, he posted a video on YouTube called "Elliot Rodger's Retribution," which was a hateful manifesto against women, sexually-active men, and interracial couples. He also discussed his attacks and reviewed his plans for violence. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after exchanging gunfire with police officers.

Family Life
He was born in London, England, but relocated with his parents to the United States when he was five years old. His father is Peter Rodger, a British filmmaker. His paternal grandfather was a photojournalist. His mother, a Malaysian Chinese research assistant for a film company, filed court documents on his behalf and described him as a high-functioning autistic. He has two sisters.
