Elaine Lively

Talent manager and former actress known for her role in the 1993 Return to Zork. She is known most predominately as the mother to the large Lively acting family which includes her youngest daughter Blake Lively, star of Gossip Girl and wife of actor Ryan Reynolds. She is a prominent feature on Blake's Instagram. 

Before Fame

Born Willie Elian McAlpin, she was raised in California and made a career in the Hollywood Industry. She gets her name from her mother Willie Inez Thrash who was also the inspiration behind daughter Blake Lively's second daughter's name, Inez. 

Trivia

She is a passionate traveler and philanthropist supporting war veterans amongst other pro-humanitarian causes. In a turn from normal matrimonial tradition: when she married her second husband, Ernie, he changed his surname to Lively to match her married name from her first husband. 

Family Life

Her first marriage to Ronnie Lively lasted from 1966-1979 and ended in divorce. She later married prolific character actor Ernie Lively later that same year. With her first husband, she had three children -- all actors:  Lori Lively, Jason Lively, and Robyn Lively. After she married Ernie, he agreed and completed the adoption procedures for all three. They would have two children together, also actors, Eric Lively and Blake Lively. She has 6 grandchildren that include Blake and Ryan's three daughters James, Inez, and Betty.
